THIS NEW ENGLAND COUPLE DISCOVERS
THE SPLENDOR OF THE COAST AS THEY
PLEDGE THEIR VOWS ATOP BROOKSIDE’S
ROMANTIC CLIFFS.
Jessica Eve Smith and Michael Paul Abasciano shared
their vows under a majestic tent on the grounds of the
Brookside Club located in Bourne, just across the bridge
on beautiful Cape Cod. The couple that currently resides
in Medford, MA says they “found exactly what they
were looking for in a venue: a summer wedding on
Cape Cod with excellent food and reasonable prices.”
The ocean-view venue, which only hosts one event at a
time, “made sure to pay close attention to every detail of
our special day” says the couple. In addition, the Club
offers a large variety of locations to photograph, with
water views, beautifully furnished rooms, and idyllic
wrapping lawns. To stay cool in the swelching summer
heat, fans were provided to every guest, carefully displaying the song lyrics of the couple’s first dance on the
front and the program on the reverse.

cocktail hour and assorted hors d’oeuvres, including
seafood favorites like smoked bacon wrapped scallops.
Subsequently, the Atlantic Room played host to a delicious buffet-style dinner and a sage green, four-tiered
fondant wedding cake, which lovingly displayed the
couple’s monogram. Each table adorned with a beach
themed centerpiece, featured a bell hurricane vase
filled with sand and a white pillar candle, anchored by
a variety of beach shells.
The brides color scheme consisted of various shades
of purple, with hints of sage green and ivory. Jessica
wore a strapless, slim A-line gown with corset back by
Maggie Sottero. The gown’s white satin bodice showed
romantic lace appliqués in champagne that carried
